Featured Activity:

A presentation on the Downeast Land Trust Collaboration.

We have invited our partners at Great Auk Land Trust,

Downeast Salmon Federation/Downeast Rivers Land Trust,

and Maine Coast Heritage Trust

to share with us the results of their work – and some of their photos – in support of our conservation vision for the Downeast Coastal Vision.

We’ll be talking about QRLT’s conservation projects, too.

Also the election of trustees and other essential business.

We hope you’ll want to stay on after the business meeting to enjoy refreshments and conversation.  Those who wish can explore the adjacent 433-acre Commissary Point Wildlife Management Area via the property’s trails and woods roads (please wear sturdy shoes or boots if you plan to hike).

The meeting will be at the CCLC Commons, rain or shine.

 HOW TO GET THERE

To get to the CCLC campus, take U.S. Route 1 to Route 189.  Go 1.7 miles east on Route 189.  At the sign for the Cobscook Community Learning Center, turn left onto Commissary Point Road.  The CCLC is on your left soon after the turn. The Commons is the new building to the right of the parking lot.  If the CCLC parking lot is full, park along the road.

From Lubec, take Route 189 towards Route 1.  Commissary Point Road is on the right about 1 mile past Timber Cove Road.
